(油肌心聲)CHARLOTTE TILBURY Airbrush Flawless Longwear Foundation 12小時實測

Hi guys. Welcome back to my channel. I wanted to do more product reviews on this channel for my Hong Kong audience because Sephora recently opened a new store in Hong Kong. I’m doing a foundation review today. I’m going to do it the same exact way as I did with the Fenty foundation review. let’s get started This is a bag from Sephora. Guess which foundation I’m reviewing today! It is the Airbrush Flawless Longwear Foundation from Charlotte Tilbury. The reason why I am reviewing this product is because I have been a fan of her products. I have her lipsticks, complexion palette, etc. I think her products are really good and consistent. Even though they can be very expensive sometimes. Well, this is also why I’m making this video today: I don’t want people to waste their money on expensive products that do work on their skin. Even though you know the brand is genuinely good, somehow you still wonder you should spend that much money on getting this. That’s why I’m here today to test it out for you. This Airbrush Flawless Foundation claims that it is a full coverage foundation with a flawless-matte, long lasting finish. (translating into Cantonese) So what’s my expectation for this foundation? Since the foundation claims to be able to create flawless skin, I am expecting this foundation to cover up my redness, scarring, and pimple Secondly, since the foundation claims itself to be matte finish, I am expecting my oil is less obvious during wear time. As for longlasting, I am expecting the foundation to stay on my face or even help reducing oil production on my face. I’m going to put this foundation under a 12-hour wear test. I’m going to give you an update every 3 hours. To be fair, I won’t judge the foundation based on my standard. Instead, I’m going to strictly refer everything to what the foundation claims it does. But before I go into the test, I want to apologize for the mistake that I made in last foundation review. I shouldn’t use a primer that has oil reducing function underneath FENTY’s foundation. This made my last review not creditable. I’m not going to make the same mistake again. I’m not going to use a primer underneath this foundation. FYI, the shade I’m using this #4. I have tried #5, it was too dark. I’m going to split my face into 2 sections: left is beauty blender and right is foundation brush. This is how the packaging looks like. I’m going to shake it a little bit before I use it. In case, there’s separation inside the formula. This foundation uses a pump head to get the product out. Always make sure you wet your beauty blender before use. These are the two application tools that I’m using for this review. I’m going to pump one pump and see how much it can cover, and show you the texture of this foundation. Usually a new foundation takes multiple pump to pump out the product I accidentally pumped 3 pumps on the back of my hand but you got the idea As I said before: left side will be applied by beauty blender and the right will be by foundation brush. I’ll show you how it looks after application. I usually dap the bottom of the beauty blender on the foundation and then apply it bit by bit onto my face. This foundation has a really good smell. It’s almost like a perfume. I recently got a lot of fine lines and dry patches on my face. I have no idea why this is happening. You can really tell this foundation is full coverage as it claims. You may compare the left side to my right, where you can see the redness on my left and a flawless finish on my right. especially, my scarring is completely gone. I look like I’m wearing a mask right now. Well, mostly because I’m not wearing my contacts and I can’t really tell what’s going on from my camera display. the finish is almost like the guy from phantom of the opera, where you completely can’t tell how his face looks like. I’m feeling just like him as if I’m wearing a mask that I can’t tell how my face initially looked like. I can tell you that 3 pumps is just enough to cover your face and neck. This is how it looks like for now: (left) beauty blender, and (right) no makeup. And now i’m going to dive straight to the foundation brush. I’m going to do the same thing with the foundation brush. It’s easier to spread and buff the product on your face so I’m going to use 2 pumps this time with the foundation brush. I usually dot the foundation on my face first and then buff it in. Does anyone know the Chinese for buffing? I don’t really know. I can’t deny. this foundation smells really really good. I have never smelled a foundation as nice as this before. probably because i was traumatized by the Fenty’s foundations and from then on, thought every foundation either smells bad or smells like play dough. Just a quick reminder: this foundation costs 44USD. This is almost 300-400 HKD Of course, it will be cheaper to get this in Hong Kong since there is no consuming tax. So the good thing about having a Sephora in Hong Kong is that, (1) you don’t need to rely on middle man to purchase makeups, ,(2) paying expensive shipping to purchase makeup from oversea websites, or (3) feeling awkward to buy the makeups from lanecrawford. Right now, you can see how the foundation looks like after being applied with beauty blender(left) and foundation brush (right) It looks really different. As beauty blender gives you a more natural finish, so basically you are expecting to see some uneven texture on your skin. On the other hand, foundation brush kinda avoid this problem. This foundation does have a decent flawless finish, knowing the fact that I’m not using a primer underneath it. Now I’m going to use the beauty blender on my right hand side to smoothen out brush lines on my face. If you have any trouble finding your shade and doesn’t like to seek help from the store like me, there’s actually a way to find your shade on sephora’s website — foundation shade match. Go to the foundation that you want to purchase, and click “foundation shade match”. After that, select the foundation brand and shade that you are currently using. Sephora will give you an accurate result from their data base. So this is it for now. I’m going to use the setting powder to set my foundation and then I’ll come back for your first 3-hour update. FYI, right now is 12:35pm. The first check in time will be at 3:35pm. See ya’ This is the first 3-hour update. Right now is 3:30pm. This foundation is pretty longlasting as it says. Even though I have already wore this for 3 hours, I don’t see a crack on my face yet. especially on the T-zone area, where the foundations usually wear off first. But now it still looks fine. But will I say this foundation is very moisturizing? No because there are some fine lines appearing on the sides of my lips. Is it flawless? I think the performance so far still hold up to what it says. After all, I don’t see any blemishes coming out of the foundation. This is my first checkin. I’m not going to apply any press powder to make it holds better on my skin. To make sure i can see how far this foundation can go. See you guys in the 2nd check in right now is 6:30pm. I just used tissues to absorb some of the excess oil. Besides the grease, the foundation stays strong on my face. To be fair, I’m not using a primer with this foundation and I’m not fixing it with press powder so I can’t expect it to reduce my oil production. This foundation is actually doing pretty well by itself. Overall looks fine. Just some oil on my T-zone. that’s it. See you on my 3rd check-in right now is 9:30pm. I’m in my car right now. I hope you don’t mind the awful lighting. the foundation is staying strong still. BUT, if you have really oily skin like me, make sure you take your moisturizing and primer step seriously. this foundation is not going to save you from your oil. I have dapped my face with tissues so many time but oil still coming out from nowhere Though, I have to say: the foundation is still on my face even though so much came off from me trying to dap the oil off. Except for this shiny forehead. let me dap on it one more time. can you see how much oil and product is on this tissue? But my forehead is still here. that’s it This is 12:30am, which is the last check in for this 12 hour wear test. the first thing you can see here: there are actually skin peeling off from the sides of my lips. But its not directly caused by the foundation. This just proved that the foundation does not have hydrating function. This foundation honestly surprised me. because i have had so many experiences with foundation that melt really quick after application but you can see here, the foundation is still on even though it has been through 12 hours with all the grease on my T-zone. Therefore, i think it is worthy to spend 44USD on this foundation. but if you ask me whether i will keep using my L’oreal foundation(around 10USD) or not, of course i’ll say yes. Even if there’s big thing happens, I still think that I will go back to my L’oreal foundation. Instead of spending 44USD on this foundation. Since this video is getting a little bit long, I’m going to cut to the conclusion: Is this foundation Amanda approve for oily skin? I approved this. Because the matte finish does make my oil look less aggressive. I believe the foundation will work even better with my Hourglass primer. I can also tell that this foundation does hold up to what it claims as “flawless” finish Which is a good thing as you know that oily skin tends to have pimples, scarring, large pores etc, and this foundation can really help to cover them. If you want to save money on not getting a 30USD concealer on top of buying 30ishUSD foundation from sephora, this foundation is perfect for your need. this foundation is worthy, for another reason, if you want to add some personal/ luxious style to your makeup collection. Another best thing about this foundation is that, it can fill up your pore to create that poreless look. as i know a lot of brands out there, who also target consumers are oily skin user, tend to claim that they can create poreless finish but i can honestly tell you that this foundation already works far better than those in the market. Do i recommend this product? YES, I DO This is all I have to say today. If you want to see more makeup reviews, make sure to subscribe to my channel.
