If you don't have masking fluid, oil pastel works equally well. Crayons work but not as well as parking fluid and oil pastels
Edit: you can't remove the oil pastels or crayons but you may not see it anyway

can i ask you a question?
can we use completely dry paper to paint? Or do we have to apply water then wait for it dry? When I painting with watercolors, first i apply water to paper and then wait for dryin'. but I don't like it because paint is going everywhere.

So pretty! I'm not sure what I'm doing wrong but I've tried the salt trick several times and it's just not working. There's almost no effect. What could be the reason? Paper? Paint? Any hints would be appreciated. ๐Ÿ˜Š

I love your technics and everything you did but unfortunately some of the designs sit uncomfortable with me and ofc that's just me but it's like a phobia I am not sure it almost feels like I'm having a panic attack looking at one of the designs so a warning would be helpful next time but I mean ofc how would you have known anyways I should have taken my caution and its my fault but im posting this here anyways just to warn others (I really hope this didn't come of as mean to you and if it did im sorry)

Using a hair dryer to remove the tape breaks the adhesive, so you don't have to worry about rips at all. (I've only tried it with masking tape though)
