Blick does the Faber-Castell Albrecht Dürer Watercolor Pencils have the effect of the Polychromos pencil when dry?

Very nice video. I am new to watercolor pencils and want to buy a set of Albrecht Durer watercolor pencils. How many colors do you recommend? I want a nice array yet want to keep cost in check. Do you recommend 24, 36, etc set? Thanks.

These are wonderful watercolor pencils with great pigments but you're claiming they are permanent when dry and I can testify that they are not. I just did a picture and to test your claims ran a wet brush over a dried area and it ran. It wasn't permanent at all. The only permanent watercolor pencils are the Derwent Inktense pencils and they are considered ink not watercolor. They don't budge when dry. People buying these Faber-Castell think they are going to be permanent when dry and they should know the truth.
