Human Head Anatomy and Sculpture – PREVIEW

Music Playing JORDU SCHELL: This is Jordu Schell for the Stan WInston School of Character Arts. Welcome to Human Head Anatomy and Sculpture. I believe that the human head is probably the hardest part of the body to
get right. So, I’m going to go through the stages to create a realistic human head sculpture. Now this’ll include the anatomy of the skull, primary form, secondary form, and some fine detailing, but not too much. Because we want to keep this gestural and life-like. I’m going to be covering reference books. I’ll be covering kinds of tools that I use, even the kind of clay that I employ when sculpting this sort of head. We have a lot of work to do, so let’s get started. Music Playing
