[INFINI] 늘어나는 필름사포 & 카본패턴 도색[영어 자막]

Hello everyone, in this video I’ll be reviewing a new product from IPP; abrasive film This one is slightly different from other common abrasives it has similar grits like other abrasive films but as written here, it has the elasticity to it so you can pull and stretch it There’s 220, 400, 600, 1000 grits, etc I’ve tried 600 grit one and it was pretty cool This one is 400 grit There are three sheets included I was surprised when I first used this product because I’ve never tried abrasive tools from IPP aka ‘INFINI’ series which include sanding sticks, sponges, etc But I never had the chance to use them because they were out of stock and I was happy with abrasives from another brand I was gifted this from a store for a quick test As far as I know, it uses the same technique as ‘Extreme Sandpaper” using electronic something something technique so the grits are more precisely and finely embedded rather than simply sticking grits onto the film so the technique used to make this is the same as the ‘extreme sandpaper’ I’ve been using extreme sandpaper for a while and some of you guys might have noticed it too but sometimes it leaves a deep scratch mark on the surface I’m sure similar stuff happens to abrasives from other brands too though But still, it lasts longer than any other… I haven’t tried the INFINI series though …brands that I’ve tried before it lasts long but that problem I’ve mentioned happen a bit too often When you sand a surface, the abrasive’s durability is important but it is also important to have an evenly gritty surface so that it doesn’t leave any oddly deep scratch marks and sometimes such marks cannot be covered with surfacers and are visible over the paints This one feels pretty good at a first glance Now I want to try other abrasives from this series Has anyone used the INIFNI series before? How is it? I guess it’ll be good too To use this, you have to first peel this off It’s not sticky by the way I expected it to be sticky but no Zero stickiness and it stretches like this Weird huh? The manufacturer said to use it like this wrap it around on something like this if you need to sand a round surface for example And it sticks tightly as you can see thanks to its elasticity and sand the surface Abrasive papers can be used like this too but the film has a tighter stick to it of course e.g. you can sand a dented surface like this This just feels nice to have such stick But that’s not the important thing How it sands it what’s important; and I love it I would like to try other products from this series if they are this good too I wish this had some adhesive at the back though So I can stick it like this What do you guys think? Like this I’m not sure if I’m using it correctly It stretches really well Maybe I can use it like this? LOL How it sands the surface is beyond my expectation It sands well but also it sands evenly without any of those deep scratch marks I’ve mentioned It’s 400 grit and sands perfectly well It should be easy to clean with water unlike sanding papers which soaks up water It looks like this one is made out of waterproof material with rubbery texture It sands really well leaving a nice and even surface Usually, compared to other types of abrasives, abrasive films are less rough. For example, even if they are both 400 grits abrasive films are about 100 – 200 grits higher, or smoother so less rough I’ve tried abrasive films from other brands in the past but they don’t last that long Extreme Sandpapers have film version too but I haven’t tried that one yet Other abrasive films I’ve tried wore out after couple rub So I didn’t bother using them anymore I guess this one you can wash it with water and use it again The biggest feature of this product is its elasticity Get one of this if you can think of a smart way to use this Such a product is definitely new in the market it stretches really well Think of a way to fully utilise this Overall, I like how this feels and I would like to try other products from this series if they have a quality like this I should ask the store to get those in stock soon LOL Anyways, it’s a new product and they all stretch Maybe you can use it like an abrasive paper with this part still intact Like this This feels nice too And that’s it for the review and I will be trying other products from this series soon The texture of the grit is pretty nice This was also gifted from the store for my wife to make SD Gundam Ground Type It has a large backpack Can’t expect much from SD kits How cute I’ll give this to my wife to make This is the frame one that makes SD kit taller We did one of this previously It’s just a frame Thank you for the gift Now moving onto the carbon pattern It’s easy to replicate carbon pattern with an airbrush without using a decal of course, it won’t be as perfect as decals but we can replicate it to a certain extent I’ll show you how You just need a net like this and you can change the fineness of the net to alter the pattern It’s totally up to you Stockings are the finest net you can get easily just cover it like this but you will have to stretch it a bit first because it’s too fine in its usual state But in this video I’ll just use this to create a carbon pattern Sand the surface first There are different types of carbon pattern, but I’ll just do a black carbon So black base first I’ll skip the surfacer Gloss black Easy to cover a large surface area with this After the paint has been dried Spray silver over it with over a net reduce the spraying strength a bit I accidentally damaged the paint because this net is made out of metal (Use nets made out of softer materials) Stick it as tightly as possible And now spray silver paint over it If we peel this, there’s our carbon pattern (Use softer net and stick it super tight to increase sharpness) It’s pretty similar huh? Now just apply clear coat over it Shame this part peeled off It’s not fully dry yet but you can see the carbon pattern created This spot though… So the key point is the net Mine didn’t work out perfectly because I only had that metal net and couldn’t stick it tightly So get something that is soft and can stick on a surface perfectly Something like a mosquito net that way you can get a sharper pattern Unlike this vague one I was rushing this with metallic net so it didn’t come out very well but it should work out nicely with softer nets Anyways, it’s easy to create a carbon pattern as you’ve saw Most carbon decals out in the market are 1:24 scale so the pattern is way too small And such fine patterns doesn’t work out for larger kits That’s why I used the decal only on some parts of the kit that I’ve just completed recently because it doesn’t really fit with big kits So if you need a large-scaled carbon pattern… This one is too big, to be honest, with about 1/1 scale Half the size of this should work out nicely So all you need is a net to replicate a carbon pattern even though it won’t be as perfect as a decal

Thank you for the subtitles and tutorial. The GBWC winner last year did something like this, so this technique was really interesting to learn.

    프레임은 크로스시루엣 부스터라고
    단독사용은 불가능하고 크로스실루엣에 추가로 사용하는거에요.
