+ain Martinez This is a difficult question to answer because everyone tends to have their favorite due to slight differences in the pencils and the colors that are offered.  Faber Castell Polychromos, Caran d’Ache Pablo or Luminance, Lyra Rembrandt Polycolor, and Prismacolor Premier tend to be the most commonly mentioned, suggested options that are all artist quality pencils.  For any additional questions, you can reach Blick Product Information at 1-800-933-2542 or [email protected] Thanks!

Just fwi colorless blender markers are ok for the first few times you use them but they will get stained permanently really fast no matter if you try and clean them or not seems like a waste of money to me i would try other methods for blending but thats just me.

I'm personally a fan of the Prismacolor Scholar colored pencils, myself. They aren't as high quality as the kind featured in this video, but they still are very good and offer great blending capabilities, as well as being much more affordable. Perhaps if I ever manage to have more income, I could afford Premier, but for now Scholar is a great affordable kind while being higher quality that many other brands.

I like prisma graphite pencils but not the colored pencils. They begin to leave a lot of wax so you can't use more colors to add more color to your artwork. Also prisma has been getting lazy with providing defective products that easily break and stuff.
That's why I prefer Faber Castell brand. Good solid materials. Look it up if you haven't heard.
