Stippling Brush Tutorial

Hi everyone, I’m Sam. Today I’m going to
introduce you to my stippling brush. My dual fiber brush is a trade secret for
creating high definition results in all mediums of makeup. I use this brush with
cream foundations, liquid foundations, powder foundations, cream blushes, powder blushes, highlighters, and powders to set the face. It really is a great
all-rounder. I’ll show you a few things you can do with it. With a foundation, you
can work from the center of the face outwards. The ultra-plush taklon bristles smooth
the foundation onto the skin which just gives you the most perfect
high-definition results. Now using a cream highlighter we can work that in
circular motions just onto the top of the cheekbone in the brow bone to create
some light. And then using a powder blusher we can use this same brush to
blend onto the apple of the cheek. Creating pixel-perfect finish even in
the harshest light. Also of note with this brush is that it will stand on a
table top, so it’s brilliant if you’re traveling or if you’re at home. Thank you
for watching. I hope that’s been useful and I’ll see you soon.

I love the flawless finish it gives. I do not like how large the handle size is (very fatiguing to my small hands) and wish the brush head were a tad larger. Overall excellent value for the money.

Does anyone know if this is the same brush that is in the Core Set?

    Thank you for your help.

    Reply
  • Michele

v nope, it's not. the brushes in sets are not sold separately, & the brushes sold separately are not in sets. anyway, since this is a "stippling" brush, should you use it to stipple or buff (as shown in this video)?

@FuckBitchesIGetMoney The "stippling" effect enables you to apply small amounts of product at a time…get a clue and stop being so rude.

Give it a quick all-over with a cosmetic sponge. Just lightly tap/stroke it all over your face and you should be fine πŸ™‚

  • Afeefa K

Hey! On the realtechniques site, the price of the stippling brush is $10, which is Β£6.41 in the UK- but in Boots, it retails for Β£11.99 – almost double the price, and I take that you live here. So why is the price double in the UK?

    Reply
  • Afeefa K

you may be using the wrong type of foundation for your skin type, try going over with moisturiser with your stippling brush to prime the skin if you don't own a skin primer, a pore reducing toner/ moisuriser usually comes close. Also, if you do try the cosmetic sponge technique, wet or dampen the sponge, this way it won't wipe off or pick up product – but blend it in πŸ™‚

  • Soniya

why aren't you stippling with the brush and swirling it around on your face? puts me off from buying this. you dont even know what your doing. and regardless of the brushes being multi purpose you should still be stippling with this brush

Gives a flawless finish no matter what type of foundation your using. It's my favourite brush and will be purchasing others from the line πŸ™‚

Why is everyone just picking out the fact she isn't stippling with it? She made the bloody brushes, it's her brush line, she can use them for whatever the hell she likes! She might stipple with different products, like she said in the comments, it totally depends on the person and what they prefer doing with their brush. People are so petty! Lots of love for Sam Chapman!

Love this brush for liquid foundation; haven't tried with other products, but after watching this I'll give it a go! Bought the rest of the range off iHerb because of the quality and affordability , because in Australia prices are inflated to $22 for an individual brush and $40 for a set πŸ™

I'm wondering if anyone has had any issue with their stippling brush shredding?? I have not owned my brush more than a year and I use gentle cleaners. I recently noticed that it has started falling apart. I'm feeling very disappointed right now because it is one of my favorite brushes I use with my foundation.
