The Best Multi Pens: Ultimate All-In-One Pens

If you find yourself switching between different pens and pencils throughout the day, it might be time to try a multi pen. In this video, we’ll show you our favorite ones. Be sure to watch until the end for a surprise pick! What is a Multi Pen? It is a pen that fits two or more refills in one pen body. These refills come in many types, including mechanical pencils, ballpoint and gel inks. They’re great for streamlining your pen
collection. Now let’s jump into our recommendations! For Comfort The Pilot Dr. Grip 4+1 is so comfortable to use, it makes us want to write more! It features an ergonomic double layer grip design that makes it easy to write for long periods of time. It comes with super-smooth Acro ballpoint refills and a mechanical pencil, but it can be easily customized with other refill colors. For Everyday Carry For a ton of functionality in a slim body, look no further than the Ohto Blooom. It’s a multi pen that’s the same size
as a regular pen! Its unique mechanism deploys the refill simply by turning the pen! It has two ballpoint ink components plus a 0.5 mm mechanical pencil. For Lefties The quick-drying ink in the Uni Jetstream makes smudges a thing of the past. There’s a variety of pen bodies and tip sizes to choose from, so you can match a multi pen to your writing style– and the size of your pen case! For Office Professionals If a sophisticated multi pen is all you need, check out the Zebra Sharbo X. This sleek multi pen comes in a variety of
body materials, and it’s highly customizable to boot. They take the popular D1 refill, so you can mix and match refills however you want. For Teachers The Uni Style Fit pairs a wide range of body styles with plenty of refills. It can hold anywhere from three to five components. From gel ink to mechanical pencils, the Uni Style Fit is the perfect match for teachers who need a little bit of everything in their multi pen. For Students We’re big fans of the Pilot Hi-Tec-C gel pens, and the Coleto puts these vibrant inks in a multi pen! There are fifteen gel ink colors in three tip sizes to customize your pen. The convenient color-coded remind you which refill you have installed. You can even add a mechanical pencil for the ultimate study tool! For Kids These kid-friendly Pentel i+ Multi Pens are super cute and functional! They’re fully customizable with tons of different refill and ink options. You can even add a charm on the end for a personalized touch. Now for our surprise pick! The Uni Color 3 Multi Mechanical Pencil. Instead of pen refills, it comes with blue, orange, and red leads for you to color-code your notes or sketch in your journal. It can hold any 0.5 mm lead, so you can choose your favorite combination of colored and graphite leads. Check out our guide on the Best Multi Pens to see more recommendations for each category. Sarasa Prefill was my introduction into mulit pens and my first love. But my ultimate favorite is the UniStyle fit! I have the 5 component one, so it holds a mechanical pencil unit too! It even has an eraser at the end. It is my EDC and goes with me everywhere!

I have the 4+1 Pilot Dr. Grip pen and I absolutely adore it! I used to be a jetstream fan, but Pilot's acroball ink pops out so much more and it's been my preferred tool of choice for my planner and note taking

But my new love is Pilot Frixion 3 colours ( it's not in this list) and I'm using all the time, came with Red, blue and black in and the convenience of Erase is suuuuper good. From the ballpoint demonstration. I now know that I will always stick by gel pens and not ballpoint pens due to how the ink goes on the paper.

I love my classic Bic four colour pen. I also have the pastel pens, and last year I found the one with the mechanical pencil and the "highliter" (it's a ballpoint tip with fluorescent yellow ink). Love that one.

I'll have to see if that very slim multi pen is available in Europe though, that sounds really good!

Do you think Lamy will add the bauhaus 100 blue colorway to the regular 2000 lineup? I’m new here, so I don’t know the various companies’ release culture. It stinks they didn’t offer the pen by itself
