Oh amazing! The perspective was just fantastic…. I would never be able to come up with such a shot. And thanks for the comment on the sketchbook quality in the end.. I was just planning to buy the moleskine sketchbook this weekend! Yeah I'm gonna rethink that now. Thank you!!!

I really like how that turned out. It’s really loose and all but the looseness just added character to it. Combined with the choice of colors, looking at it makes me feel somehow nostalgic for some reason. I feel like it’s a world I’d like to visit. I’m really looking forward to more videos like this! It’s really calming to watch and I learn while watching as well!!

Thanks for the tips in this video. I have horizontal moleskin notebook, I guess I used a lot of water while drawing and pushed the paper over it's possibilities. Thanks for showing this. U r awesome.

Very nice Mateusz! I tried doing watercolor on the normal Moleskine sketchbook but I noticed that the pigments don't attach to the paper (the paper is really nice for sketching but it looks like there is some kind of "gliding" surface on it and the pigments don't like it), so I just destroyed my sketch T_T. Did you experienced something similar with yours?
    I use this one: https://ch.moleskine.com/fr/carnet-de-croquis-noir/p0437

Hi Mateuz and Kana ! Nice project appearing ! I am impatient to know more about and see the whole "City of Waves". This is intriguing actually. Mateuz, the sketch that you are showing, I like it much but I regret the thick black line you added at the end, I much prefered the skech without it. I was searching myself for a fine liner grey waterproof 0.05 (i generaly use 0.05 not 0.5) and did'nt find one with a real permanent ink. I found by Aliexpress a micro-line 0.5 grey Superior brand label AP, that i use sometimes to finalize a work to avoid having a black line on pastel colors because i don't like to have a high contrasted line on pastel colors. This is not for all the same taste, of course. But be sure that i still love your work.

… following of my previous comment… Have you tried 0.1 instead of 0.3 fine liner on other works with pastels colors (if 0.05 is too thin) ? I think 0.3 is too thick (on my taste).
For sketching before painting, I love the pentel brand of refills for mechanical pencil.

Dear Mariusz , as a nation friend from Poland 🙂 (im not using Polish couse of other nationality who could read this) could please give an advice for someone who want to start digital painting (special watercolor), wich divice sould I take, new surface pro 2017 i5 8gb with their new pen or ipad pro ? I know that you are using Ipad, but maybe you got some experience on other divice ? I have an issue , on surface you may install other software for architects wich you dont have on ipad pro but I have some fears that on the surface , they maybe some lags (paralax) special using some oil paints and watercolor. You got maybe some advice for me ?
