Wellington Quasi hand sculpture
It’s really cool. Another cool piece of Wellington
artwork, as long as it doesn’t fall down on anyone.
You concerned about the wind factor? Yeah, possibly.
But probably not a big, big issue. But in general, I think it’s, it’s a striking piece.
I love it. I love it. One of the things I like about Wellington is that is the eclectic
art and the eclectic public art. So I can just walk around and look at it don’t have
to go into a museum. Yeah, same thing. I like the I like all the different things and I
think this is a good idea putting it up there. And I think I like walking around town and
seeing it. I think it gives characters and city what sort of impact you think it has
on civic square? Well, I think I think any of these things do nice things for the tourists
as well as for the folks of us who live here. We get to go around and see stuff and and
gets us out of our ruts in our, in our apartments etc. During
particularly during the bad weather, although I’m worrying about the hand surviving the
wind. In the Paper, they said they did special engineering work to make sure
I thought was quite bizarre really. I mean, it’s, to me it looks like Donald Trump merged
into a hand so I don’t really know what that entails and what it’s about, but I’m sure
we’ll find out sooner or later. But yeah, I found it quite quite strange. Really. I’m
kind of confused about it. It’s quite I’ve never seen something like that. But maybe
I don’t know. It’s kind of cool I wouldn’t expect to see something like that here. So
yeah, it’s cool but it’s just I don’t really know if there’s like a meaning behind it or
it’s just I random sculpture. It doesn’t quite out of place. I think it’s quite an attention
grabber. People will probably come have a look at I can say people already taking photos
of it and stuff.
